The aroma diffuser market is quite homogeneous and saturated, which is in contrast with the tremendous amount of essential oils that are used for the diffuser. Every essential oil comes with its own set of benefits. For example, lavender oil relieves stress and reduces inflammation and eucalyptus helps to refresh and fight fevers.
Our research showed that people use a few favorite oils or blends throughout the day. Current aroma diffusers require a full rinse and clean of the machine before they users can switch to another oil. This limits the user and discourages the behavior to safeguard the aroma therapeutic benefits.

The solution
Duo essence is an aroma diffuser with two compartments to store multiple oils in one product. Each compartment has an integrated diffuser that is producing fog, which is a combination of water with fragrance that comes from the essential oil.
Each compartment can be filled up with water and oil by removing the top cover. The speed of the diffuser can be adjusted with the rotation button, to regulate the oil intensity. By pressing the button in the center, users change their environment by switching from one essential oil to the other, or mixing them together. What typically required a deep clean before, is now done without impacting the spontaneity of the moment.
