Swift is the perfect solution for any backyard chores. This hose trolley organizes, transports and stores the hose in a flash.
The smart reel solution allows users to wrap their hose without any need to correct overlaps on the spool that could cause binding. When rotating the crank, the hose gets untangled through the receivers and afterwards perfectly organized on the drum without additional guidance.
The structure contains a sliding handle for convenient carriage and compact storage. By tilting the handlebar 90-degree backward, the hose trolley is positioned on 2 legs, making the product perfectly suitable for any environment.
Customer Journey
Hose trolleys are practical organizers for the garden. However, during our research we indicated two main issues that complicate the use.
Research
As soon as the hose trolley is installed, people start unfolding the product by pulling out the hose. The wheel-based structure in combination with uneven underground makes that the hose trolley tends to tilt easily.
When the task is fulfilled and users are folding the hose back on the coil, the hose often overlaps on the drum and blocks the water during the next use. Therefore the user needs to guide the hose, which is an inconvenient and dirty job.
How can we provide an easy way to fold the hose organized on the trolley and keep the product in a stable position when unfolding, for more convenient use?
The solution
Swift is a hose trolley that makes organizing the hose effortless. The coil is positioned in a 5-degree angle, based on the yarn spinning principle. When the user rotates the crank, the hose goes through the receiver and folds around the drum. The 5-degree angle creates a movement in the drum that pushes the hose sideward after every rotation, for an equally divided result.
The Y-shaped structure contains wheels at one side of the frame, for convenient carriage. Flipping the handlebar 90 degrees backward deactivates the wheels. The hose trolley is then completely standing on the bars of the frame for stable positioning.

Anti-kink receiver
The two bars that are located above the drum enhance the sturdiness of the construction and untangle the hose. Users are only required to rotate the crank and the system organizes the hose by itself.
Compact storage
The Hose trolley has a foldable crank and retractable handle for convenient carriage. By folding the crank and handlebar completely inwards, the hose trolley becomes a compact structure for storage.
Hose adapter
The hose adapter on the inside of the coil makes the hose trolley suitable for any hose. One end of the adapter should be connected to the hose that is folded on the drum. The other side is for the connection to the tap.
